DATA of Plano is Going Virtual this Chanukah!

What is it? Virtual Chanuka Party
Date: Sunday, December 13

How do I join?
1. Click here to download the Purple Virtual World onto your Mac or PC.
Please note: this program will not work on a phone or tablet.
​
2. Once downloaded, open the program and follow prompts to create an account and an avatar.
Once your avatar is created, feel free to look around and explore the world!
3. On Sunday at 7:00pm, enter the world and look for your friends.
Someone will be on hand for technical support before and throughout the event at (469)-434-9080, as well as at the help desk immediately upon entry into the Purple Virtual World.

What is it? Chanukah Music Video Contest
Date Due: December 17th, 8th night of Chanuka
Time: 9:00 p.m.

How do I join?
Involve the entire family in dancing, acting, or showing off to the song "Miracle". Then upload the video as per the rules below.
​
Prize: Winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card, prizes for the runners up as well.
​

Rules:
1. Video must use the song "Miracle" by Matisyahu. Click here to download it.
​
2. Video will be judged for creativity, adherence to Chanukah theme, entertainment factor, and usage of different people.
3. To enter, you must either upload the video to Facebook, tag @DATAPlano and use the hashtag #chanukamusicvideo or email the video to chanuka@dataofplano.org.

4. All videos must be uploaded or submitted by the eight night of Chanuka, Thursday night, December 17th at 9:00 pm.
